It is a must-watch for fans of true crime and documentaries about the criminal underworld. Overall, a very interesting episode of Gangland and, and shocking with its examples of some very bloody and violent confrontations. It shows the dangers faced by undercover informants like Charles, as well as the violence and brutality that define the gang lifestyle. and how the gang was almost kaput, but has risen again to prominence, although much less violent nowadays. In the end of the TV episode, we learn how the cops finally nailed some of these guys, through the RICO act, a key witness, etc. The Outlaws, with 200 chapters and 1,500 members, were very organized and were all over, not just the Midwest. The only man brave enough to sneak into three outlaw biker gangs and live to tell the tale, Charles Falco, author of 'Vagos, Mongols and Outlaws', goes from convict to infiltrator as he secretly documents the Vagos illegal activities and ultimately brings them to justice. Outlaws, the Pagans and the Merciless Souls. ![]() There were also some brutal killings north of the border in Canada. Season 2 of Gangland Undercover picks up Charles Falcos story. One of them wasn't far from me, at Lancaster Speedway, right outside of Buffalo., New York. What I thought was very interesting was learning about the group, the "1 percenters" and who the men and women were, where their backgrounds might likely be, and the various brutal killings that took place. The series is based on Falcos memoir, 'Vagos, Mongols, and Outlaws,' and. Also, it's all about territory, which was a big issue between the Outlaws and the Angels. 'Gangland Undercover' documents the lives of outlaw bikers who live in a world in which respect is earned through fear. It reminded me of shows I've seen about Mafia wars - lot of executions and rival "wars." As stated in the show, the Outlaws are not some group devoted their motorbikes and that "Easy Rider-type lifestyle of freedom, bikes, booze and broads.but simply one of trying to make as much money as they can, and it's done through illegal means of drugs, prostitution and the like - much like the crime syndicates. It also gives us some brutal examples of the war between them and the Angels. The one-hour program goes on to explain why they claim that, why these bikers were/are more a "crime syndicate" than anything else. It's also pointed out numerous times that this is far more than some "biker gang," that it's been "organized crime" to the ninth degree. ![]() It symbolized how bad the gang war had become in the Midwest between "The Outlaws" and "The Hell's Angels." This "Gangland" TV program centers more on the "Outlaws" biker gang - "the baddest of the bad biker gangs." It's a very interesting episode, especially to those who aren't familiar with this group. Although Falco originally took on the assignment to avoid spending 20 years in prison on drug charg es, it eventually evolved. soil ever, took place in the West end of Chicago.
